Members of Concordia Mandolin & Guitar Ensemble joined 70+ musicians from around Australia for a week of rehearsals, workshops social events and more, culminating in a concert at the beautiful Brisbane cathedral. The festival conductor was Richard Charlton who composed the festival piece. FAME – the Federation of Australasian Mandolin Ensembles has a festival about every two years. Next will be in Melbourne in January 2026.
